In honor of my roommate Rachel's 22nd birthday, we roommates gathered together last night to celebrate her. And what better way to celebrate than with an Old English Tea Party (Rachel is an English major). Complete with tea, scones, jam, candle light, old books, handmade paper flowers, the occasional British accent, twinkle lights (our 21 century addition), and the Pride and Prejudice sound track.
The British accents made for great entertainment!
I think I would have liked to live back in 19th century England.
It was the perfect way to celebrate an awesome girl and end a stressful day; sipping tea, eating scones and jam, and enjoying the company of wonderful woman.
