I must say, living in wine country definitely has its benefits! After a great morning at church I got to spend a beautiful afternoon in Paso Robles with 4 wonderful women enjoying tasty wine and great conversation, and bonus...it was all free! Thanks to Lisa who works at a vineyard in Paso on the weekends. I guess it pays to know the right people.
Free wine, free food, it was truly fabulous!

I love being able to spend time with these great women, I am trying to soak it all up while I can. I will be moving away before I know it and unfortunately I can't take them with me...sad day.

How FUN! What's crazy is when I was as Poly, it was HORSE and COW country! The vineyards were just starting to be planted as I left. Bummer!.... I could have had A LOT of fun with that!!! Enjoy all your moments left up there!
Hi Rae -- great pictures and even better friends to share the day with. I am so glad that you are getting to dig in and experience some of the joys of this time of life -- finally. I guess being a senior does have it's perks. :o) There really is so much beauty up there and some really great wine too. It's kind of neat how they go hand in hand: the splendor of the land and it's luscious harvest. Enjoy!
